The Trackerwave IoT Platform Tracking & Locating System is a powerful one-size-fits-all RTLS technology platform for IoT, location-based services and other workflow applications. It provides sensor data communication, alerts management and diagnostics for tags and devices with scalable cloud agnostic and modern technology code base.
Real time indoor location tracking system locates and monitors any person or asset within a defined zone covered by an RF network. RTLS systems utilize a combination of hardware and software to enable indoor tracking on floor plans. This RF receivers (also known as RTLS anchors) placed throughout the area to receive the signals sent by active RTLS tags. Trackerwave is listed as a ecosystem partner for major access point vendors, to enable the RTLS Anchors via Wi-Fi acccess points. RTLS tags are made up of an antenna, motion sensors, RTLS microprocessor and a battery. Most batteries on RTLS tags can last for years before needing to be replaced. The tags transmit a few times in a second or once every few seconds or minutes, depending on how often you want to refresh the location data (refresh rate.)
The signals captured by the RTLS anchors and directed to RTLS gateways connected to the local network. All data within the signal is sent back to a location engine software, where the exact location of each tag is calculated and positioned on the facility map.
